This is the beginning of a research.

Each face - a landscape. Each wrinkle - a story that connects the past and the present. As I seek to further understand my role as a woman in the world, I look back at the history that shaped me. I seek to capture the strength, deep beauty and tenderness of those who are mistreated and unseen. This project looks inside the patriarchal system of the Balkans, through emphasizing the lives and hardships of many hardworking women.
